I started personal training with Naji a little over 1 year ago . I had recently been diagnosed with heart disease and have arthritis in both knees due to many years of a sedentary lifestyle. I decided I wanted to make a change, and Naji has been the perfect fit. I was nervous working with a trainer as I had a poor body self-image and lacked confidence. He was quick to put me at ease and accept me for who I am and appreciated that I was trying. Naji was also quick to identify my weaknesses and work on building my strength in my legs to alleviate the pain in my knees so that I could become more active. He is always encouraging and pushes me when he knows I have more to offer. In the year that I have started, I have hiked to the top of a waterfall, climbed through a cave, have kayaked and started biking again. Many things that I thought I would never do again!

Because of limited mobility issues due to arthritis I need to increase my exercise to prevent the real possibility of falling. For a frame of reference I am 76 years old, haven't fallen to date, not overweight and otherwise in excellent health. But darn that arthritis!
After a complete assessment he/we made a plan. From the tips of my fingers, the wrists neck shoulders ankles hips including balance and muscle strengthening he worked me. We used weights, bars, chairs,balls and walls.
We also discussed home safety and proper footwear.
Naji is patient, kind , soft spoken and always encouraging especially when I get discouraged. He always focuses on me and doesn't get distracted.

Naji has been an incredible help to my older father, who is dealing with multiple health issues including MS, diabetes, and back problems. Encouraging him to stay active and mobile at home has been challenging. But when Naji arrives, my father gives him his full attention and effort. Their bond is evident as my father genuinely enjoys Naji's company. Not only does Naji make him exercise, but they also engage in dancing and light boxing sessions that involve the whole body. This has greatly improved my father's overall physical well-being.

I have trained with Naji for almost 4 years. I am 76 now and intend to work with him for many more years. Naji understands the mechanics of the human body. He observes me carefully as I exercise and is extremely good at finding and understanding my strengths and, more importantly, my weaknesses. He then develops exercises to address my problems. These are not generic exercises but are designed specifically for my problems. Naji cares about me. I am fortunate to train with him. "
